Ayurveda, the sister science to Yoga, is a path that heals and rejuvenates the mind and body. Ayurveda, literally the science of life, was developed in India over 6000 years ago.  It is an ancient philosophy with practical applications. According to Ayurveda, each of us is a unique mix of the five elements: earth, water, fire, air and ether. The balance of each of these elements differs from person to person and it is this balance that determines our individual constitution, or dosha. Once your dosha is determined we create a lifestyle program to balance your unique needs. Your current food, exercise and lifestyle habits are all taken into consideration allowing us to develop a program with sustainable changes to support your overall well being.   Through diet and lifestyle recommendations based on your individual mind-body type (dosha), you begin to cleanse and rejuvenate the body and settle the mind.
